I like to go to Hugo's during summer months and sit on their patio as it brings a memory of Mexico to mind. Their patio is decorated just like one would expect at a Mexican hacienda. The food and margaritas were ok. We had tacos Brazas and Carnitas. The beef was tough to chew and kind of tasteless. I would recommend Carnitas, those were tasty. I like that their food is traditional Mexican food, but I wish they would update the inside ambiance and revive the menu. I found it tired looking and kind of not moved up and modernized with the times. Seems like they got complacent. It may have been a top place ten to twenty years ago, and I hope they renovate the ambiance and refresh the menu to match the old fame they had.
