I have three EE quilts (Revelation, Enigma, Accomplice) and other items (pad covers, bug bivy, etc.). I was incredibly disappointed with their complete unwillingness to stand behind their product when I finally needed to contact them about a problem with the Enigma. When I contacted them about a snap that had torn out on my Engima 0F they took over a week to tell me that it would be a minimum $60 to have them repair it. They automatically assumed I had misused the quilt, causing the damage - no consideration that there could have been a sewing mistake or materials issue. I had only just discovered the second snap on the Enigma (only a single snap on my other two quilts), used the snap two nights, then discovered down leaking and the stitching around the snap torn. I had it repaired locally (excellent work) for far less, since I wasn't worried about voiding the non-existent warranty getting it repaired somewhere else. EE is totally out of step with 'cottage' outdoor manufacturers, my experience with other similar size companies is that they have bent over backwards to make things right. EE is the opposite - it's your fault from the start, they aren't interested in considering anything differently and the only solution is to pay for an overpriced repair job. Very slow customer service response times to add insult to their misguided approach. I will spend my money at companies like ZPacks, MLD and Feathered Friends for other quilts and accessories I am looking to buy.
