We visited Aug 2018 for a magic show. An anniversary show. PENN IS A MUSICIAN. Really GREAT musician actually! He usually jams before his shows. We sat in the front row of the balcony. Seats were horrible. Couldn t enjoy the magic show. Felt very much out of touch with the show. Sadly. However Penn and Teller both come out to greet their guests after each show. They stop for pictures and are great people. They RUN to get ahead of the crowds to make sure everyone does not miss the opportunity for a picture with them. These two magicians have more class and humility than half the people you will ever meet! They are truly amazing people. I am sure if he read this he would probably do something about our poor experience (not necessary at all).
Hotel was nice from the entrance to the theatre. My rating is for the theatre from the show. I couldn t even imagine sitting behind someone or further back in the balcony. This show needs a different theatre a more intimate setting to truly be enjoyed. Or spend the extra money and sit lower. (Balcony should be renovated and a second intimate theatre should go there. ). But no seat should be sold from the balcony. It is doing both the show a disservice and the buyers injustice.
