We thought we would purchase from Marks Electrical as they were a bit cheaper then Currys.
We ordered our washing machine online and was advised that it was out of stock but would be available in approximately 5-6 days, ok fair enough then we got a phone cell stating it wouldn't be available until the first week in march, so my wife explained that we couldn't wait that long as our current washing machine had stopped working so the girl on the phone upgraded the it at no extra cost. Brilliant can't fault that thank you.
Now we get to the delivery process. We were told we would get a time slot the night before...nothing was emailed or text, so my wife rang the next morning and she was told you only get notified the night before if you have a morning delivery, ok fair enough, so was told it would be delivered in the afternoon but still had no time slot, so my wife rang AGAIN and was told our slot would be between 3-5 but driver will contact you 30 minutes before delivery. As me and my wife both work full time and have our child in nursery I had to ask them to keep him a little longer as we had a delivery coming (which will cost us because it's a nursery) it got to 4.45pm and still no call from a driver so I rang the customer service number, the girl was rude and didn't even let me finish what I was saying. I was now told delivery was expected between 4-6pm so buy now I was starting to get a bit angry as I was going to be late picking up my son and never even got a apology. I said to the girl are you sure it will be coming at this time, her words were "yea I'm sure" and then practically put the phone down on me. I had to take the chance and pick my son up from nursery as they close at 6pm luckily I got there just in time and when I returned home they delivered it 10 minutes later but never had a phone call to give me notice.
I think the girl I spoke to was flo, definitely requires some customer service skills!!!

Yes correct you had my wife's contact number which your driver never rang!!
We had to keep ringing as we had no communication from yourself, and by your response you obviously condemn poor customer service from your staff!!!.
