Beautiful resort but way overpriced. Looks can be very deceiving. Upon arrival, our family had to wait over 3 hours before our room was available. Check in was well past the check in time of 4:00 pm. My family and I had to hang out and find things to do until our room was ready. Our room was not cleaned thoroughly. There was hair on the sink and in the shower, brown specks of unknown matter on the floor, urine on the toilet, chocolate candy on the chairs, and smeared stickiness all over the private balcony door. There was throw up outside my hotel room. I asked to have someone clean it twice and no one ever came. The receptionist at the front desk all seem annoyed that you're bothering them. The restaurants were overpriced and food was ok not great. We decided to order pizza because it was a lot better than forcing ourselves to eat at one of the restaurants at the resort. After finishing our pizza outside, I brought my pizza box inside the hotel to be disposed of. The front desk was upset that I brought such a large box inside to be trashed. I guess I should have left my trash outside. We had to order three drinks to go with our pizza. We had two mixed drinks and a sweet tea. $32.00. Our hotel room was $352 a night which included a $20 resort fee; yet, we were not allowed to use anything at the resort without paying extra for it. Please steer clear of this hotel. You will get better service at another hotel for a far better price. My family and I will not stay here again.
