Drove up from Phoenix to spend the night in Vegas....

Drove up from Phoenix to spend the night in Vegas. TI had a really good rate for a Friday. I love that they have a nice big garage that is for guests only. We didnt have any problem finding a spot. Another nice feature was coming across the self service check in kiosk. Super easy to use and took less than 10 minutes to check in and have keys in hand. Resort fee is 41.95 Anyone that has been to Vegas knows the check in lines are no joke!! lol They had kiosks right as you come in from the parking garage so it was super convenient. We ended up with one of the newer renovated rooms on the 6th floor. The room was a very good size and was nice. The lamps all had plugs and usb ports built in. That was nice. The bed was fairly comfy despite the pillows being on the lumpy side. Our view was of the rooftop which was fine but the lights on the roof were super bright! The window had a really cool vent feature if you wanted some fresh air. Just slide the latch over and it popped up. Have not seen that before. The bathroom was huge! Tub and shower were nice and the shower had fabulous water pressure! Bathtub was huge and would be great to relax in after walking the strip. Downside to the bathroom was the filthy glass left on our sink. I dont use them anyway for that reason but it was still pretty gross. Would have much prefer the sealed plastic cups so I could at least have saved myself 3.00 from buying a water in the vending machine to brush my teeth with. The only other thing I did not enjoy was the noisy neighbors we had and the constant door slamming! The doors are so heavy that they all slam so LOUD every time someone goes into their room. It was non stop all evening and is quite unneccesary. Bad design for sure! The room had a mini fridge which was a plus and also a safe. Our safe did not work though. Lights would come on but it wouldnt function. Ice machine was close to the room but also didnt work. Vending machine had a decent selection of snacks and took bills or even a credit card. Minus a few small details the room was great for the value and if the price is right again we may be back.
