Fantastic national park on the border to Mexico. That's how I imagine the wild west. Abandoned mines, dusty paths, cacti, mountains and small ravines and down in the valley the Rio Grande. Heat was already high in April. There were animals to see sporadically The Roadrunner crossed the road again and again, snakes we have only found dead on the road. Hike was great, always take enough liquid with you.
