The facility appears very professional and clean. The front desk staff was helpful and the interview process was very thorough. I was on board until my dog was taken back to try out the group environment. We were not allowed to see my dog introduced to the group and after seeing what the groups looked like, I can understand why the staff would not want a dog mom or dad to see the process.

We went on a Saturday, late in the afternoon but there were still quite a few dogs in a very small area. While mine was stressed and cowering against a wall, occasionally being picked picked on by a couple dogs, he is not who I am most concerned about as he will never be going back. It s the regulars I feel bad for.

Every dog was tense and on edge, there were couple dogs shaking, others stress panting, and if a dog started to play, they would be immediately stopped by the handlers. There was no designated potty area for the dogs so they would all simply pee or poo on the floor and a handler would come mop it up.
Many dogs were crowding the two gates hoping to selected as the next one to leave and tussles would break out every couple minutes.

The only interaction the handlers had with the dogs were to put a choke collar on them for a correction walk . There was no praising, no affection shown towards the dogs. The handlers were simply jail wardens with buckets and mops for pee.

There was never moments peace, there was non-stop barking and while we were there watching our dog for about 30 minutes, we heard at least two fights break out in the other groups.

When I decided I had seen enough of the environment I asked for my dog to be brought out. The exit process is horrific. There were already 15 dogs crowding the gate, mine made it to the back of the crowd, the choke leash was put on him, handlers are dragging him through the group while the other dogs are all trying to escape. They finally get him through and keep the other guys in, but I know that many dogs have to be stepped on or worse each day with that system.

Like I said, I will not be taking mine back, that was probably the worst day of his life. I urge others to think twice about making their furry children endure that as well. It felt as depressing as an animal shelter as equally as stressful.
