Beware! They don't seat parties greater than 10... even on an empty Wednesday night.

My colleagues and I attempted to get into Alibi Room after a company outing. We were greeted by a staff member at the door and asked if we could be seated for a group of 12. The pub was not even close to 20% capacity. We were told that they do not seat parties greater than 10. We then asked to split our group into two groups of 6. We were there to have a few drinks and call it a night. A manager or another staff member told us that they didn't want to seat us as a split group because we would converse between the tables, causing additional traffic. Anyone who has been to Alibi, knows that the tables are rather long. There was plenty of room to seat us. We asked if they had any solutions for us, but they just said, "no, sorry, you can try Portside"
Ultimately, they told us they could not serve us.

I don't know what pub / restaurant would refuse business at 9pm on a 20% capacity Wednesday night. Maybe we weren't dressed appropriately (we had come from an office job....). But I can assure you, the reason for refusal would have baffled the majority of reviewers here.

Alibi Room has lost 12 patrons.
