Yesterday I had the worst experience I've ever had...

Yesterday I had the worst experience I've ever had at a hospital at Lutheran. Granted, they were a little busy but this is no excuse to be rude to a patient. Upon explaining all my symptoms, the doctor I spoke to told me I was just being paranoid and delusional (actual words) and then proceeded to tell me she wouldn't treat me or run any tests, because the radiation would just put me at risk for cancer when really nothing was wrong. She told me she could get my a psychologist and I promised I was having no psychological problems - only physical ones. This was unacceptable.

So I had a friend drive me to St. Anthony's a ways south of there. There, they were kind, didn't snap at me or tell me anything rude, ran all the proper tests and sent me home with prescriptions that turned out to be entirely necessary. If you find yourself in the west Denver Metro area DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to Lutheran. Go to St. Anthony's where they are kind, responsive, and won't simply refuse to treat you.
