I visited here for the first time last night. We went for a free holiday event. We arrived an hour after it started and this place was pretty packed, but we had no problem finding a parking space. The old offericer s club house feel was perfectly complimented by Christmas lights and some beautiful wreaths hanging on the door.
Once inside, our first stop was the bathroom because it was time to get our little boy dressed up for pictures. The men s restroom actually had a changing table, which was awesome! My husband changed him while I waited in the very long line to see Santa. Although it was long, it moved at a decent pace. And it gave me time to run to the buffet and pick up food for the boys. The buffet included a basic salad, Mac and cheese, hot dogs and chicken fingers. There was also a dessert at a separate table - apple cobbler a la mode.
There were beautiful Christmas trees throughout the house. And in this main room there were plenty of long tables that were absolutely packed. There was also a bar at the back of the room that was serving cider.
In other rooms there were crafts and games. Everything was very festive and fun.
When we finally go to the front and met Santa, we had our picture taken by the photographer. Our picture was printed and handed to us only a minute later. Also, every child was given a free teddy bear from Build A Bear!
We had such a wonderful evening here. You can pay for a clubhouse membership and attend many more events. This was just one of the free ones that was open to everyone.
