So when it's your birthday you obviously need to go to a bunch of different restaurants lol, especially when you're new to the area. We came here as my final birthday dinner. The food was good and the portions were decent but the service was mediocre, I don't think we saw our waitress again after we ordered our food, she just came to drop off the check. I ordered a mule, like I always do and it was very good. They definitely know how to make their drinks, my other half never got a drink because the waitress never bothered to come back. For appetizers we did the deviled eggs, biscuits and the crab dip. I really love their crab dip and have ever since I went to brunch with friends early this year. The biscuits were delightfully light too, I wish we would of had more of those with the honey butter. For the entrees the four of us shared, because what else should you do when out with the family, right? We ordered the ham and apple Mac and cheese, the scallops, goat cheese ravioli with butternut squash and the shore style crab feast. I picked out the crab feast and I am glad I did because it came with a crab cake and fried chicken which were both very yummy. I also really liked the ham and apple Mac and cheese surprisingly because I'm pretty plain with Mac and cheese but it was light and not over bearing. The crab cake was up to par to the other seafood restaurants in the area and the scallops was cooked to perfection. Founding farmers is one of my favorite choices for brunch and now it's a contender for dinner even though I would probably go to a different location.
