I have placed ten orders with Aquarium Coop in the last two months. The shipping is super fast, and items are extremely well packed. Aquarium lights (I have purchased five) are shipped in their own retail boxes, but so far have all arrived unscathed. If it is for sale on this site, it's going to be good! There are not a lot of superfluous items, many things here are tried and true equipment and medications, as well as some new innovative things they have tested. Fantastic things like the USB Nano Air Pumps have me coming back time after time for more. I had a small problem with a little hang on back filter: I cracked the intake tube when I tried to attach it. When I wrote Customer Service, they sent me an entire new filter in a few days. I believe customer satisfaction is one of their priorities. I've also purchased many live aquarium plants here. At first glance the prices may seem higher than some of their competitors, BUT, (and it's a big but) the quality of the plants is really great. The Java Ferns and Anubias are generally one nice big healthy piece, not a bunch of little pieces and leaves packed into a pot with wool. Things like Water Sprite come in the pot as a rooted rosette plant, not a bunch of trimmings held together with a weight. I've only had one plant die that I could not figure out why. Had a couple die that expired due to my own mishandling (I am a planted tank beginner.) I am sure that if I wrote to notify them, they would try to make it right. But I don't think they should have to pay for my mistakes. And the videos! There are literally thousands of informative presentations on YouTube. That's what got me back into the Aquarium hobby after a long hiatus. Science, baby! It's priceless to get advice and encouragement from experienced aquarists. You can shop here with confidence.
