Best in class for what it is, but not really my thing.

My first experience with Tartine was when a friend brought a country loaf to a dinner party. It was definitely the culinary highlight of the evening.

The second time was in the bakery itself. I waited in line for ~10 minutes and got a double pain au chocolate. My friend ordered a morning bun. Both were amazing, especially the soft interiors.

But I don't like waiting in line or eating indulgent carbs so I probably won't be back too soon.
