Very disappointed with the service--we purchased a...

Very disappointed with the service--we purchased an inverter in August online and never received it. When we followed up September, we were told it was backordered and would be in the following week. We didn't hear anything. We called again, and were told someone would call us back with more information. This never happened. In November, we were told that it might not be being manufactured anymore, but they would let us know. Today, in mid-December, I went to the store where I was informed by George that they learned a week ago it was discontinued. Again, there had been no communication. He apologized and said he had made a mistake. He also told me that part of the problem was that "the people downstairs" who handle the internet orders hadn't even told him that we were looking for this particular model until October or November, so it "wasn't his fault." George offered to sell me a more expensive comparable product with no discount or offer to make things right for four months of inconvenience. There was no accountability or concern that we're facing a snowstorm tomorrow. I asked for my money back. Very frustrating and disappointed! (and masks were not on noses or completely off of other employees to boot!)
