Very disappointed with our stay. Check-in took forever because they were training new people. The restaurants were closed (yes Debbie in spite of you arguing with us - the restaurants were CLOSED) so room service was the only option during the day. There was no heat on in the end of the hotel where they put us. It was a little like being at the hotel in the Shining. And when we asked for a late check-out (keep in mind there were only 13 guest rooms occupied) we were given a compete run-around. The only bright spot were the food service employees who were very nice and apologetic for our experience. It's unfortunate that such a landmark hotel has decided to forego customer service and hide behind managers who can only say, "well that's our policy." Unfortunately we have stayed here many times in the past, but this was our last visit.
