Precision Camera has a great reputation here in Austin, so naturally I wanted to take my business to them and see for myself. Unfortunately I have had awkward and rude experiences the 3 times I have been there within a 2 week span- each time hoping for something better. My review has 2 stars because the staff in the new camera section is very helpful, relaxed, and knowledgable. However, the staff in the photo lab and the technicians there have been very rude and awkward. The final straw was today when the technician only looked at me with an extremely confused and demeaning look when I asked for my photos to be reframed. When he finally understood what I was asking, he was putting together an order for a reframe on the computer, and did not bother to first tell me how much it would be. He proceeded to take my photos to the back without telling me how long it would take, and came back out and handed me the pictures with a "here" and an awkward moment of silence, then a look up to say, "you're all done". No smile, no thank you for coming in. I also would like to mention my prints were quoted (twice) to take 2 business days and were not done until 4 business days from my order. I will not be returning to Precision Camera.
