Lady at front desk was helpful, immediately took are name down and told me it would be a 45 min wait, great no problem. She suggested for us to have a drink at their outside bar and if we found a table outside we had the option to dine outside, if so, we just needed to reply to the incoming text and cancel the table for inside; great.
Well, we found a table outside at the bar, it was well shaded, by the water and fans were blowing, just perfect. We decided to dine at at that table.
One of the waitresses came by and told us that was fine for us to dine at that table and that another waitress would be bringing our menus.
Another waitress came and immediately asked us if we were expecting more guest since we were seating at a table for six people. We told her no, it was for only two and there are no other tables available.
She suggested for us to go to the other bar to look for a table for two since they like to keep the table for six for a larger party.
I told her we were told we could select any table from the bar and the inside table we originally reserved was cancelled since we had already selected the table at the bar.
She asked for my name and went to the outside host to find us another table. Immediately came back to us and said she had a table for us.
We got up and immediately were seated to a table of SIX, go figure!
My husband and I laughed and couldn t understand why the waitress would inconvenience us to move us to the same size of table. We didn t know if the waitress made this decision due to her own interest based on the total bill and tips she would earn from a larger party.
Other than that, we had amazing service with our new waiter and amazing food!
The name of the waitress at the outside bar was unknown but was Caucasian female with red hair during lunch time on Sunday June 2nd.
We like to suggest to management, add a sign to the larger tables for customers that reads table for only large parties.
If Management doesn t care about how many guest seat at the larger table, then we suggest the bar waitress get a 101 etiquette training!
