The gentleman showing at the open house stated "we are taking offers now. No bid war & we will consider it immediately." He also stated Stellar agency had remodel plans drawn up as they buy homes like this. Odd to say at an open house! However list agent Blair says to my realtor, "we are taking bids to 5:00 on Sunday & decision on Monday. Opposite from showing. Hmmmm.
Blair also states seller needs flexible close date to coordinate with their purchase. We offered above ask with the requested flexibility. Blair comes back later in day & says "seller going with buyer that has no contingency." Huh?
Then, we offered to take any contingency off & do an early close. Nope seller has accepted other offer already! We were told no decision until Monday.
