Absolutely horrible checkin experience. They don't take customers that have been standing in queue for over an hour in the same place. They instead take those who skip the line, right in front of them. Standing here waiting and extremely disappointed. This is my second time to this resort and my last.
After over an hour waiting with one person in front of me I was next, after some more waiting I was told since I was preferred member I should have told them so I could have private check-in. No one told us that. As soon as we arrived they ushered us to the front desk and that's when the disappointment began. Since then we were checked in to our rooms. Only one of four in our party received our booked room preference. The butler attempted a few times to upsell us so we can get something more upgraded. All we wanted was what we paid for.. Now we are in a double bed instead of King and the shower floods. Waiting for someone to fix so I can shower. Probably will have to go down the hall to our other room to shower. There's a constant knocking on the ceiling that sounds like the AC unit is working overtime. Very poor experience and we've only been here a few hours. It's upsetting that we can't pack up and go to another resort. Oh and found out their pools close at 6p lol so that just sucks. I really hope I can improve my review over the next couple days. It almost feels hopeless though. Oh well, I won't be referring any more family or friends here unless something drastic happens.
