Last week I made a reservation for December 9, celebrating a very special occasion with my wife. During the reservation, and again on the of reservation, I called the restaurant to remind them of the occasion (they assured me it was noted in my reservation). But to my surprise, nothing was done when we finished our dinner. On the way out, i mentioned this to the standing manager and he did not appear to care much (he said they would try to make it up next time). It was a very expensive dinner and not an amazing ending experience. There will be no next time for me. Other restaurant go above and beyond to please customers on special occasions, but not Morimoto.
