I checked in the hotel on 12/22 for a stay of 1 day and decided to pay cash, after holding my room with my credit card. The agent at the desk, Jamal advised me he would charge my card $50 for the deposit and I was to pay $149.66 (which I did). After giving him $150 in cash I received a text that the card was charged $171.60! Now how is this possible? Why would my card be double charged when the agent took my cash? Upon finding this out, I was directed to Jeremy (manager) whom I was told this can be corrected immediately. After speaking in person to this farse of a manager, he basically challenged my intelligence stating I didnt give Jamal any cash as they dont accept it. Of course, WE exchanged alot of words (not so charming) and I asked him if there were cameras to prove that i did in fact give Jamal 1-100 bill, 2- Twenties and 2- five dollar bills! He said 'yes there were but only security and another head manager could access them and they were on Christmas vacation"!
So now at this point, Since that extra charge has hindered my kids Christmas, I'll be contacting the corporate division for Jamal's theft and Jeremy BEYOND HORRIBLE AND EMBARRASSING behavior!
