Sara Sampson Review of Hideaway Steakhouse

My close group of friends and I go out on weeknights to nice dinners. We were all so excited to try Hideaway and I must write to say how disappointing it was. The server was so kind and professional and had only been there for a few months but did a great job answering all our questions and was very attentive. The wine was good, and the appetizers were as well. As other reviews state its pretty overpriced and not worth it. My husband and I were looking forward all day to the prime rib and it was beyond dry. My friends prime rib was not dry and you could see the juices on their plate. Mine was bone dry. All our sides were barley warm. When the owner came over to drop off a side, as the previous one was incorrect, I informed him that my meal was less than par. My issue is with the response from the owner, he just stared at us... I said its fine we will pay for it but I just wanted to inform you that all our sides are cold and my prime rib is dry . Then he just said "Well.... I guess the customer is always right. Ill take care of it". then walked away. I was shocked. I was hoping he would offer to get us a new one but apparently, he just took the prime rib off the bill. This is fine and I appreciate it, I did not want to pay for a meal I did not eat, however I was still hungry and wanted a steak that I came in for. I would have much rather payed for the prime rib and had a new one out that I could enjoy. There was very little empathy or sincerest in his voice and it seemed to have annoyed him that I would even complain. The transaction was so weird and all of us were confused. Right after my friends found a hair in their crab legs but refused to say anything after how bizarre we were treated. Overall, every person at our table had an issue with one or more item they ordered, and we still ended up paying $150+ excluding the prime rib. We all agree we will never be back.
