Lawrence Dodd was my salesperson and he was absolutely incredible. I was a customer of Beverly Hills Mercedes and I had the WORST experience. Absolutely terrible. I had all but written off Mercedes Benz all together. My husband told me to just check out the South Bay one to see the type of vehicle I wanted since I was so sued to Mercedes and that we could then go to Audi or BMW and find something semi the same. The moment I stepped into South Bay Mercedes it was ENTIRELY different and I m guessing is much more the way that Mercedes aims so be portrayed. Lawrence immediately made me feel comfortable and genuinely cared about the kind of vehicle I was looking for as well as what features I truly needed. I never felt like he was like most car salespeople who lie, push you into things or are rude to you the longer they have to be with you. Because of all of those reason he took someone who was highly opinionated on the brand and WAS NOT going to use them ever again to someone who wanted to purchase again. I went in at 5PM on a Sunday and by 7PM I knew I wanted to stay with Mercedes and more importantly Lawrence. I came back the next day around 9am and by 11am I was driving away in my new car. Everything from browsing the cars, to crunching numbers to the paperwork was not only easy but it was enjoyable. In the very short wait I had while the vehicle got a car wash Lawrence sent me to the giftshop to get a free keychain of my choice. As small as that sounds it is the little things that count. A truly exceptional branch of Mercedes. With so many of my peers having horrible experiences at other Mercedes locations and changing to BMW I am confidently telling them that Mercedes is still great and that South Bay is the place to go.
