Not sure why someone would give this 1 star. It is very nice. Maybe the renovation has made a world of difference, but it is a great value in Baltimore, which has lots of overpriced hotels. It is not five-star in amenities, but for what it is, it is very nice. We only stayed 2 nights here, but I would definitely stay here again. Some have said that the "neighborhood" is not good. It is not in a neighborhood, but the business district; there are no homes near here. While it is true that there are many empty store fronts in the area, because the economy of Baltimore has suffered greatly under progressive policies, the area itself is safe and relatively nice. It is only a couple blocks from the Inner harbor waterfront...How bad could the area be?
