Who as a culture and music lover does not know the KKL in Lucerne with its striking yet light architecture? It is beautifully situated on the lake and yet only a jump from the train station. We visited the KKL on the occasion of a concert by the blues singer Philipp Fankhauser. The room was full and yet you didn't feel like you were being restricted. Only for access to the cloakrooms and the toilets did we have to fight our way through the "masses" and it seemed to us that the channeling of the people on this floor could have been better solved. The acoustics in the concert hall have been highly praised for years and we can only confirm the excellent sound quality. Apparently the hall is not only very suitable for classical music, but also very well for contemporary, louder music with modern instruments and amplifier systems. The various bars and restaurants, which are located in the same building complex, are a good solution. They are ideal for a drink or snack after a concert.
