When we were looking for a buying agent, we were referred to Teresa by a friend who'd recently bought a house through her. Teresa spent a lot of time before our search asking questions to really understand what our priorities were, and once we looked at a few properties, asked more questions to refine her understanding. She quickly understood our tastes (which we had a hard time articulating ourselves) and kept in frequent contact through our search, even when new listings were scant. We began our search during a time of year when there's not a lot of new inventory, and since we didn't have a hard date by which we needed to secure a house, we were pretty picky with the properties we saw. Teresa was supremely patient through the process, and ultimately set up a showing at a house that I'd seen on Zillow but wasn't terribly anxious to tour in person for various reasons. Turns out she was right--the pictures didn't do it justice. We immediately fell in love with it when we saw it in person, and we're now the proud owners of a beauty that exceeded our expectations of what we could find within our budget. The negotiations, due diligence, and closing were as smooth and stress-free as possible, thanks to Teresa and Lili, the transaction coordinator at the Ginther Group office. We hope we won't be on the market again for quite a while, but I wouldn't hesitate to call Teresa and the Ginther Group again, and we'll also happily refer them to friends in the market for a new home.
