Very, very disappointed with my stay @ this suppos...

Very, very disappointed with my stay @ this supposed 4 diamond hotel. When you pay for a 4 diamond hotel, you'd expect the best. So many things went wrong from the beginning. Our original intentions was the day spa-pass, but we decided to stay the weekend, Danielle, the check-in girl knew this, & never once informed us its an additional fee to use the spa amnenities. Later that evening, after inquiring where we can go to enjoy the spa amnenities we were then informed it was an additional fee. She was to have a supervisor get it handled for us; we never heard a thing back. Saturday morning, we call to check the status; Ken then says he'll have a supervisor look into it, & get back to us, even going as far as getting my husbands cell phone number, like they really had the intentions of calling us back. Nope, not a word! Finally Sunday morning, a supervisor on staff got us our spa amnenities, but we were only allowed to use them up until check-out @ 11am. We weren't granted a late check-out bc they had another group coming in; I guess some guests are more important than others. When we finally spoke to Herb & Thomas, the hotel managers, they basically laughed @ us, & said we shld have just paid the spa fee's. Tell me this Herb & Thomas, if we had known the spa amnenities weren't included with our hotel stay, why wld we go that route, paying $500 in hotel fees, rather than just purchasing the $50 day spa pass, which would have been much less expensive...the whole point of havi g interest in this resort was the spa ammenities, as i only live 10 min away. The money we spent @ this location feels like a waste, & it's super irritating knowing the staff has no accountabity in this what so ever. The ball was continually dropped, the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing, there is no accountability amongst staff or supervisors. We didn't even get fresh towels, we had to call & ask. The food is also very expensive for such small portions. It's a beautiful piece of land, but the quality of service you actually get is less than a motel 8. I really would have liked to take advantage of the resort on a frequent basis, but my first & only experience was a complete let down. Very dissapointed!
