It s a long story, but I got a dog here under some stressful circumstances. My friend moved to Florida last year, and her ex ended up giving up her dog here after staging a fake bite case. The sweetest dog was scheduled to be euthanized, and I was called to come get her. The staff was really helpful and thorough with the expectations of my taking responsibility for the dog. This dog had been through so much abandonment in her lifetime, but kept her sweet demeanor. So glad I did this, and so happy to work with Fort Wayne animal control.
