I went looking for a new car and the people at Honda did a great job showing me what was available. I test drove 2 cars- the 2017 Honda Fit and the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback and both had great features but I decided to lease the Honda Civic. The 2017 Honda Civic has a backup camera and a right-hand turn camera which helps with parking and lane changes; it also syncs with my iPhone so when I plug it into the car, so that it shows my GPS, reads my incoming text messages to me and also allows me to send text messages via voice commands; it has fog lights and defrosters for my side mirrors. I've owned the car for a month and unfortunately, it's already starting to have problems with the volume button on the steering wheel, and volume on the touch screen so I'm a bit disappointed. The next time it happens, I will be taking it in for repairs. My salesman was very kind and friendly and told me to call him with any questions but he only replied to the first text message question I sent him; he hasn't replied since. The finance guy was a bit pushy when it came to the add-ons, even when I told him I was trying to buy a house so didn't need the add-ons. He asked if I would want the add-ons if it didn't cost anything extra and I said of course, but then he changed it to an extra $2 a month. I don't know why he even suggested doing it for no extra cost if it wasn't an option. Now I wonder if I could've gotten it for free if I hadn't relented.
