Hotel is pretty good but the bartenders are terse and unfriendly.

In addition, The Palm Restaurant downstairs has gone downhill quickly over the last 6 months. Walk to the Capital Grille a block and a half away instead (there is a reason its way busier). I frequently stay at the Westin and used to eat at this place on every stay...and it was as expected from The Palm. The last 7 or 8 times have been unacceptable. Service turned awful, with rude and entitled bartenders and servers, and the food was worse than substandard on my last visit.

I ordered a $42 pasta dish that would have easily been surpassed by something you could get at Olive Garden, Carrabas, or Maggianos...and that's not an exaggeration.

I won't ever step foot in this place again on my trips to Denver...and it may even push me to stay at another hotel. Shameful and not what I have come to expect from The Palm...but I guess they have lowered their expectations substantially and The Westin does not care.
