What a great hidden gem in this area! Most folks I told about this park had never heard of it. I camped here with my dog for 2 nights in October 2017 and LOVED IT! This is one of the nicest campgrounds we stayed in for our 3+ week trip. Everyone we chatted with in the campground said the same thing. The bathrooms (with showers inside) were super clean. And so many water spigots, I only had to walk 10 feet to get to the closest one. Plus, they have a brand new laundromat with 4 washers and 4 dryers.

Even with all that the best part was that it was a state park so I could take my dog on all the hiking trails in the park. We had a blast! I highly recommend checking this place out if you are traveling along Hwy 12. You won't regret it!
