My granddaughter and I found an injured hawk on I20. We were 1.5 hours outside Dallas. We called Rogers Wildlife and asked if we could bring it in. Of course they said yes and asked for a donation. When we arrived a volunteer came out and greeted us and took our information, where it was found, etc. Roger and I can only assume his wife came out to get the hawk. They said he had a head injury but were sure it would be okay. Roger even showed a picture of a hawk sitting on his hat on his head. The picture was taken this morning. I absolutely gave a donation for all the wonderful work they do. There are cranes, Peacocks, Geese, ducks and birds of prey. Unfortunately they are closed to visitors because of COVID, when it reopens we are going back to visit.
