I m a total animal lover. I was actually born on earth day and I care deeply for the planet and all of Gods creations. I couldn t think of a better way to spend my birthday than getting to encounter some wild animals. For my cons, I was a bit disappointed to see some areas of the park did close at certain times, certain animal encounters and what not. Also, very few shows seem to be happening, which is probably for the better considering our crazy heat. They had a log ride that seemed to be out of order or not running which I m sure the kids would ve enjoyed. The sky tram (I forgot the actual name) was a bit old but served its purpose, I just wish it had different stops, and took you to the front of the park.

The pros, the park is massive with animals to see at every turn. Being able to feed the giraffes was the most memorable thing to do without a doubt (bring quarters to buy the food), they re beautiful. My second favorite thing to do was feed the animals in the small petting zoo that s near the exit. The goats ran up to me soon as I entered the fenced in area and I got to feed some deer, again very memorable.

In closing, I feel every animal loving Arizona resident needs to visit the wildlife world zoo. Bring your kids and let them experience these beautiful majestic creatures and hopefully instill in them empathy and compassion for all animals.
