Bought my used vehicle here over a month ago, and it was in the bill of sale that I paid $200 for vin window etching. I've contacted 3 different people on numerous occasions with no resolve. Had them telling me they don't do it anymore.... I've asked for a refund over 5 times and I am now being ignored.
Stay away from the used car side if you value customer service and appreciate not being ripped off.
Update: (I am no stranger to making reviews of businesses, so heed warning when purchasing from Renfrew Chrysler, very shady practices taking place) I have talked to the manager, and he refused a refund, gave me a speel on what it does, renfrew gives you pennies when car is stolen, etc. Said they can't refund it, that its on all bill of sales, everyone pays it. The agreement when i went in to financing was that the price i agreed upon included ALL fees before i sign a bill of sale. Then I see this extra $200 tacked on. Not one person explained what it was. I even have documented proof that the salesman and finance person had no clue what it was either. Holy moly!!! Talk about scam. Look out people. I am out $200 for something I didn't ask for and the manager won't even call me back with an explanation. Stay clear! Once they make a shady sell they ghost you completely, zero professionalism or customer care.
