My loan has been delayed by 60 days. It took 120 days for MLD to process my refinance because of short staff, however they kept their rate lock and did not charge even after 120 days.. I was charged a rate lock extension fee but as the delay was from MLD they removed the charges.

What could have been better?
- Loan officer communication and keeping us informed on the delays.
- Applicant has to reach out multiple times to request for updates.
- No clear cut instructions on closure date and process of closure.

What went well?
- Notary came to the place of our choice which helped a lot.
- Accuracy of the loan information. No hidden charges.
- Doc sign and app that lists all the pending tasks and who is it pending with..
