REVOLVE on Memorial Road is a great place to eat, and the dining room is quiet and comfortable, so that is where I chose to take my best friend out for lunch. The young guys who took our order were personable and welcoming. The one who massaged my crust to perfection asked if we had been there before (I had; she had not). The other guy ably piled on the toppings of my choice then moved to ring me up-at which time I said they were both on me. At REVOLVE, you pick your pizza size then walk down the line and choose your sauce/toppings. If you choose a salad, you do the same again (my pizza and salad strangely look the same). The house-made Italian dressing is delicious, but they have other kinds, if you prefer. The pizza comes out in a flash--like four minutes, tops. The drink station is in the middle of the dining room, as are the 'to-go' boxes. The young man who rang me up gave us the drinks for free. While that limited bit of generosity might not thrill his boss, I was grateful since I was, as I said, paying for both meals. Might even be responsible for this glowing review (never underestimate the power of THE FREEBIE). All-in-all, a wonderful afternoon with my friend in a place quiet enough to have a conversation and a good meal. If you have only a few minutes or all afternoon for lunch or dinner, REVOLVE is a good choice for pizza.
