The square is across the road from Flinders Street...

The square is across the road from Flinders Street Station's main entrance. After heading up a set of shallow stone stairs, you end up in the large plaza, which included a stage. I was there when it was empty and was able to look at the design on the floor. There were really interesting looking buildings lining the edge of the square, both in colour and shape. There are also a few dining areas around including Niska, the robot ice cream bar.
I quite liked the games scattered around the square, as well as umbrellas and seating so you can just relax for a bit there. There is also a set of stairs that take you down towards the river side for a nice stroll.
