Very poor service. They could not find the problem...

Very poor service. They could not find the problem, so rather than narrowing down the possible causes, they recomended a $6000 replacement of the timing chain. I fiddled with a sensor that i suggested to them and solved the problem myself. I would have been out 6K and still have the problem if i had left it to the mechanic.
