**all the 5 star reviews are from STAFF not residents, so beware taking 2.8 at face value, probably much lower than that**

I have had both a hot water leak that pours out water in my bathtub for 2 years costing me between $9-20/day in power and a drainage problem in the same bathtub at the same tim. They have "fixed" it by replacing the same two parts 17 times despite admitting that there is a permanent fix. Emergency maintenance took 3 hours to respond to the leak and blockage resulting in me having to spend hours using a bucket to remove water from the leak in the tub so that it didn't overflow on my floor, flooding my apartment and my downstairs neighbor's apartment. The manager won't even step out of his office to speak with me regarding an issue that is costing me insane amounts of money and resulting in me not having access to my shower for now a total of 9 days this month, nor does he think that it warrants money off my rent (I can't shower!!!). This is the 4th company to own my apartments since I've lived here and they are certainly the least caring and most cold and callous when it comes to needs. If you live in a First Communities property or are thinking about it, be prepared to have to deal with all of your own issues and receive zero help or compassion from the management. The leasing agents definitely do the best that they can and are all very nice, but their hands are obviously tied when it comes to bigger issues.
