Jeep Liberty tow plate package
Jeep Rubicon tow plate package and now the
Spare Tire Carrier. That one was a mess. The specs on the site are wrong. It will NOT fit all 16" rims even those for a dually truck rim. I used a great local certified shop to order it. The service writer and I both looked at the specs ordered the unit and it did not fit the rim. The cross bar is too shallow to fit a deep rim. Sent back the previous unit, paid another $400 for the new unit same code -S (for class A's which mine is a Class-C.) In the mean time I called RoadMaster customer service which usually good. I got a rep that told me, it's not my problem the specs on the site are wrong it's tech supports problem. Transferred me to Tech Support same thing, "we only build the site" talk to Manufacturing. Transferred me to manufacturing and got the same run around. Transferred me back to Customer Service who was rude, and said just send it back ($142) ground shipping to swap for the other unit. Still not a good fit, it will work but now the tech says there is another $229 / Adapter you need. So that would have put me about $1000 for a tire carrier. Again called service, they denied ever talking to me though I have the emails and a direct line because I sent them pictures. Even the Service Writer at my local shop said the same thing. He got nothing but I dont' know, not our issue, silence, denial of knowledge or just silence. What happened RM? Your service used to be excellent. It is now really bad and rude. I used to recommend all your products every RV ground we went to if someone asked. Now... maybe. not sure. A-Product but a D- for service. Please work on your customer service skills. Go back the way it was.
