People at the visitor center were lovely and very well informed. They went out of their way to help me explain to my daughter the way in which the bridge was constructed and the history of it. Only downside to the entire experience was there wasn't a single atm in sight in the visitor center vicinity after close to get bus fare if you didn't already have a transit card. Made for a lovely but long walk back to the Presidio to catch a bus.
