Deborah venegas Review of Tom Raper rv
We flew from California to Camping World of Richmo...
We flew from California to Camping World of Richmond, Indiana to purchase a used 2006 Country Coach Intrigue. They sent us Work Orders of over 27 items that they had already repaired on the coach. After 40+ phone calls, emails and text we felt comfortable to spend the money ($2000.00) to travel there to purchase the coach. When we got there most of the 27 items on the Work Orders had NOT be done even though the Work Order said the status of each item was "complete". Some of the items having to do with the water system we were unable to check because they couldn't find a hose to put water into the coach. One of the main items that they said they had fixed and didn't was a fuel leak and a coolant leak. We took a 20 mile test drive and used approx. 2 gallons of coolant. It really is upsetting that they would let us leave in the Coach and drive from Indiana to California knowing it had a coolant leak. We would have been stopping every 50 miles to refill it with coolant. Fortunately for us, we had taken our son-in-law who knew about Diesel engines and saw the leaks. We knew that there had been a water leak on one of the slide seals and we asked the staff if they could see any mold or mildew in the RV. The salesman said he had been in the coach lots of times and had never seen any. One of the first things we noticed were the mushrooms growing under the dinette and in the bedroom slide. Wasted time and money traveling there because they are dishonest. The Coach is still up for sale, who will be the next victim?
I hope I can prevent others from wasting money flying to this location to purchase a Coach. Beware if they give you a Work Order that says the items have been completed.
