What: Machu Picchu, The Inca lost city

How was it: This place is great, and totally worth checking out. Actually, the Sun Gate, is quite a walk so be ready for that. Our guide warned us it would be roughly one hour each way and that's how long we took. This is a nice walk and escape from the busy setting at Machu Picchu, so if you're looking for some peace and quite, this is your place.
Also another place worth checking out is the Inca bridge. It's quite breathtaking and a little quieter than Machu Picchu itself.
We heard that staying in Aguas Caliente overnight was expensive, so we did it in one day. Doing it over again, we might consider staying one overnight.. Also, try to make sure you are acclimatized, even though Machu Picchu is at a lower altitude than Cusco, it's probably best not to rush into it... Just a suggestion.
