The University of Connecticut is a decent school and offers excellent value for your money.

However, it has large classes sizes, high faculty to student ratio, most classes are taught by TA's, isn't good at any one particular area and has a limited reputation beyond the New England and Tri-State area. I had a great experience for undergrad at UConn but you may want to look to more prestigious programs for graduate school depending on your goals and fields of study.
