I came in for express service in April and they fixed the brake light switch recall during that time for my Subaru. In June, I started having issues with the brake lights not turning off/turning on by themselves even when my car was off (resulting in a drained battery as well), and some issues with the ABS while driving. I called Mike Shaw Subaru and explained the issue- the lady who answered from the service department did not understand what I was telling her that I felt there was an issue with the brake light switch and offered me an appointment 3 weeks out. I asked to speak to a service manager, she took my number and said someone would call me but I never received a phone call. I called another Subaru dealership and they immediately knew the issue was the brake light switch and said they would be able to see me the next morning. When I got it fixed the next day, they had said the mechanics at Mike Shaw Subaru had incorrectly installed the part which had been causing the issues. I normally had good experiences here but after this, I do not think I will be using Mike Shaw Subaru for car service again.
