My husband and I stayed for 5 nights, although the rooms in the hotel is good but I'd say this is definitely worst five star hotel I've ever lived. On the one hand, the resort is far from town centre, takes 15 mins drive to town, and the parking space in the hotel are barely enough, you will find no parking space if you go back after 10pm, and if you ask the reception for parking place, they charge you $20/night for valet parking, but this is still tolerable, the thing intolerable was the terrible services. Firstly, no one greeted guests at the lobby, secondly, during checkin, the reception never tell you whether my room includes breakfast or not, and no one tells me where can I get breakfast from and where the restaurant located. Thirdly, one of a tall white guy in the Grill was very rude to us. Fourthly, when we go to the Grill to had breakfast, nobody ever give us a sht and ask whether we would like tea or coffee. Lastly, no one ever told me there is a shuttle bus between town and the hotel until I found it in the last day of my stay. Overall, the guest service in Hilton Queenstown is defiantly below average. Within the same price range, I believe you will defiantly get a better place in town where it gets you a better lake view and more convenient.
