Review for Lewis River Motors (LRM) "service department": My vehicles are always repaired on time and to quoted price. However, they leave the vehicles in a unsecured lot, with the doors unlocked. We asked the service staff if there was a chance that our missing items were removed and misplaced, or if the vehicle was exposed to a thief; to which we received rudeness and overconfidence in their parking lot safe area. The service staff assures that there were no items taken or allowed to be stolen while under their care; end of story. Okay, so I return my vehicle there next time I need service (water pump failure) and compensate by removing all valuables from the vehicle. Think I have the upper hand now? Not quite. They preform the service; even are gracious to provide a loner car for me at no charge. The repair is finished and guess what, the vehicle is found outside in the non-fenced parking lot unlocked. The vehicle is taken home and it now has no functioning air conditioning. The wiring for the A.C. unit had been obviously tampered with. I plan on returning to LRM service department to get a reasonable explanation on why the compressor/AC equipment was tampered with. I hope this is not their method in procuring future service work; tampering with various components of your vehicle that are completely irrelevant to the components that you've brought to them for repair/service.
