I love this place. I found a fledgling mockingbird...

I love this place. I found a fledgling mockingbird outside of my front door this morning. He was hopping but could not fly.....he looked like he had been pushed from the nest too soon. I had to do something or he was a goner. I knew about this place(Rogers Wildlife Rehab) as I had brought them an injured blue jay about 10 years earlier. They saved the blue jay and encouraged me to bring in the young mockingbird ASAP. i brought it to them and they met me in the parking area and took my info and the young bird. They assured me that he(?) would recover and be fine....thank goodness. What nice people they are and what great work they do. I left a donation.
