Terrible experience. Heard great things about this place so booked as a treat during our week stay in Salcombe. We came for Sunday lunch. Took half an hour before anyone even came to see us despite the restaurant being near empty. We then had to wait at least an hour between courses. One of our party has coeliac disease and despite us triple checking the dish she ordered was gluten free her tomato & burrata salad (which had just one slice of tomato btw) had bread on it. When we asked them to take back and make fresh without bread it came with the bread taken off and crumbs still on the plate. When asked if this was fresh the poor waiter who was very embarrassed agreed that the bread had just been flicked off. Very sloppy allergen management control. Will be avoiding this place for the remainder of our trip.
